Heifer International - Rabbits in Ecuador

Lourdes Fiomena Cutiopala and her sister Lisbet Rufina Cutiopala with a rabbit near the village of San Martin in Ecuador. Their family is participating in a Heifer International project to increase incomes of impoverished farmers in Ecuador

The farmers terrace their land, use manure for the animals to improve crop production, built irrigation systems to help water the crops, and other activities to generate income.
