Donate to Joe's Goal »»
A few years ago Joe read about the MO340 in the Rural Missouri and the Missouri Conservationist magazine and decided to attempt the challenge in his 50th year. A buddy of his did it last year and asked him "why wait?". So, what started out as a 40-something male looking for a challenge (not that there is anything wrong with that!) turned into something more when it became a fundraiser for Heifer International.
Help Joe along to reach his personal and funraising goals!

Charles Wolfe, #0252

Two Harbors, MN
Kruger Sea Wind
Donate to Charles's Goal »»
Charles grew up paddling the lakes and rivers of northeastern Pennsylvania but the constant quest for space and upland habitat lead him to the north shore of Lake Superior. Boreal canoeing is a constant desire but time on the water is kept in check by his other passions. A proud father, exasperating husband, physician passionate about his work and more than willing to discuss it it at any hour oft the night with residents and students, a lover of bird dogs, and someone who finds satisfaction with tinkering in the workshop. Sustainability is a core value in his approach to health, work, life balance, economics and the environment. Heifer International's mission is a global solution successfully implementing the values that he struggles daily to maintain in his own life.
