Heifer International
In 2010, we aim to raise an additional $8,000 to support Heifer International's life-changing mission of ending hunger and poverty while caring for the earth. We have developed two great canoeing events and a children's challenge that will entertain, educate, and challenge participants, while building awareness of Heifer's mission across the country.

Join the herd — Become a MR340 Team Member!
The Missouri River 340 (MR340) is an "ultra-marathon" canoe challenge that will take place from August 24-27, 2010, from Kansas City, MO to St. Charles, MO. This will be our main event for the 2010 season, and Rob Bean, Chief Paddling Officer, will lead the MR340 team for the Big Moo Canoe. We hope to establish a 10-person squad of MR340 racers to participate on behalf of Heifer International and raise donations in their home communities.
Since our home-base is in northern Colorado, this year 25-percent of all money raised in the community will go to support local families in need through a donation to The Food Bank for Larimer County.
